I only knew Joe for a couple years in the mid 80’s when we met through mutual friends and softball. Though our acquaintance was short lived, I’ve never forgotten him somehow. He was loved by his old friends and had a spirit that drew new ones to him. My sincere condolences and best wishes to all his family and friends.

Losing my father was the only fear I had in life. He was my best friend. He never turned his back on me when I had no one else he was there. A piece of me left with him that day. The world is less brighter.
Love you dad
