You were beautiful, you were kind, you were intelligent, and you were wonderful. I don't think I told you how wonderful you were enough. Did you know how special you were?

There was no one like you. Not a single soul out of the eight billion on this Earth were as tightly bound like mine and yours. You were so, so, patient because you put up with me and my annoying habits and my insecurities every day - and you always come back to me, even if I pushed you away. You have made me laugh countless times, and you laid with me many dark nights. Our messages would make sense to no one else, our conversations crazy to anyone passing by. I could tell you absolutely anything and you would listen. I could tell you the same story four times, and you would laugh each time. For someone to know everything about me and still love me as you did - well, you must be a truly wonderful person.

I am so, so lucky to have had you as my best friend. You were worth every gem on this Earth. And because you were so wonderful, so amazing, so unfailing in your love for me - I promise you this:

I will always remember you. I will always keep you in my heart.

Because you will always be my best friend; because I love you.
