Mary Leavitt Frehner, died June 26, 2003 at her home in St. George, Utah. She was born September 17, 1915 to Dudley Henry and Mary Hafen Leavitt in Bunkerville, Nevada. She married Fenton Frehner on November 25, 1932 in the St. George LDS Temple, and they made their home in Mesquite, Nevada until recent years. Mary's optimism, gratitude, and tenderness to all (especially the babies and children) is an example of the highest order to her posterity. She is a regal example of love. She is preceded in death by her husband Fenton, son Graeme Henry Frehner, and grandson Jonathan Regan Leavitt. She is survived by her children; Dale (Glenna Graff), Verl (Toni Lawrence), Dorothy (Verland) Thurston, Mary Lynn (Tom) Leavitt, Lana (Derrill) Larkin, Klint (Gail Waite), Creed DaRel (Deborah Jean Linge), Alfred Duane (Susan Diane Richins), Bryce (Diana Kathy Dodenbier), Kimi Kit (Mark) Christensen, daughter-in-law Mavis Hansen Frehner, and brother Francis Leavitt. Mary has 60 grandchildren, 122 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel in St. George, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. prior to services.
