Raymond BENZENBOWER Obituary
RAYMOND BENZENBOWER JR. Raymond "Pat" Benzenbower Jr. passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. Pat was born in Anderson, Ind., March 31, 1935. He moved to Las Vegas in 1966 and worked as a bartender at several hotels. He went to work in 1980 for Bartenders Local 165, where he retired as president of the Local in 1998. He was very active in the Elks Lodge #1468, where he served as exalted ruler in 1997-1998, and also served as the general chairman of Helldorado that year. After retirement, Pat and his wife, Connie, moved to Pahrump, where he was active in the Moose Lodge 808. Pat had an amazing sense of humor. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his family and many friends. He was affectionately called "Mr. B." by many of those who knew him. His passing will leave a void in the lives of all who knew him, but left us all the better for having known him. He is survived by his wife, Connie, of 39 years; daughters, Karen Sue (Jeff) Miller, Michelle (Jeff) Hannah and Deborah Kowal; sons, David (Terri) Noble; Richard (June) Brummett and David (Karen) Brummett; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his "special buddy," Harley. We love you and you will be in our hearts forever. Services will be private.
