1930 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
ROBERT KILLEBREW Robert Leo Killebrew, 87, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. Bob was born September 12, 1930, in Hartshorne, Ok., to Bill and Mary Ester Killebrew. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War and played on the baseball team. He moved to Las Vegas from Oklahoma in 1948. Bob died peacefully in his sleep at Nathan Adelson Hospice. He was a proud member of Teamster 631. His greatest joy was working on his Utah farm with Bonnie surrounded by his children, grandchildren and dogs. He is lovingly remembered for his strong work ethic, sarcastic, quick witt, colorful vocabulary, being a spelling and math wiz and a diehard Oklahoma Sooner fan. Bob had a generous spirit, willing to give the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. He is survived by his devoted wife, of 60 years, Bonnie; seven children, Kelly, Scott, Steve(Iman), Suzette, Tony (Martha), Sheri and Keri(Stacey); 12 grandchildren, Matt(Francesca), Chris, Kyle, Andi, Alec, Ellie, GiGi, Eric, Ava, Will, Jace and Ben; one great-grandchild, Amelia; siblings, Una, Paul, Norma, Erma (Ronnie Tackett) and John (Lorna); and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Rhett. Services are private. "Rest in Peace, you will be remembered and missed always."
