SHARON TRENT Obituary
SHARON TRENT Sharon Ann Trent, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, from a long battle with pancreatic cancer. In her last days, she was surrounded by her immediate family who gathered to give her their love and support. She was born October 2, 1945, to John Angelo Sr. and Anne Mary Sperduti. The family moved to Las Vegas, in 1968. Sharon attended Bishop Gorman High School and graduated from UNLV in 1970, with a bachelor's degree in science and business administration. In 1972 she became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and opened her own accounting/CPA firm. In 1987, Sharon married William Trent Jr., and went on to be a loving homemaker. She and Bill loved travelling to different countries and enjoying life to the fullest. She hosted countless dinners on every holiday and on birthdays because her family meant the most to her. Many of her family and close friends called her "Sis." Those who knew Sharon would say she was a loving, caring and generous woman, who never asked for anything in return for her kind deeds. She loved her dog, Daisy. Sharon will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Anne Sperduti; and her sister, Marianne Lexis. Sharon is survived by her brother and his wife, John and Crystal Sperduti; nephews, Shawn and Blake Sperduti; niece, Michelle Ayala; great-nephew, Damon Ayala; stepdaughters, Jacqueline Miller (Robert), Bonita Sherman (Thomas), Nikki Trent and Elizabeth Werner (Robert); their children, Amanda Johnson, Melinda Filardo, Matthew Miller, Damon Miller, Devon Werner and Ryan Werner; and great-grandchildren, Breanna, Kayla and Ebbon. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Sat., Nov. 2, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5830 Mesa Park Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135. A reception will follow at Spiedini Ristorante, 221 N. Rampart Blvd. inside the JW Mariott Hotel. Burial will be private. The family requests that any donations in Sharon's memory be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
