Obituary Condolences

William (Bill) Fornataro died November 20, 2017 after a long illness. He fought death valiantly, just the way he fought in the Vietnam War.

He had a life-long love of airplanes and worked for Boeing for several years after being in Vietnam Army Air, and helped put the first 737 in the air.

He also loved Sunset Park, where he and his wife would sit and watch the airplanes go by.

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Nancy, and his sons Adam Fornataro and Kirk Fornataro, sisters Mary Campbell and Sally Galstad, brother-in-laws George Galstad and Stan Wijts, step-daughter Vida Castaneda and seven grand children, who all hope he's now able to golf in heaven.

We cherished his outgoing, funny personality, but most of all his warmth and caring. Family was everything to him! He was a very loving man who will be missed terribly. Bill, God Bless and keep you in His loving arms, free from pain. We will join you on the other side.

A celebration of life will be held in six months, due to his son's deployment.
