FRIEDA HULL Frieda Elizabeth Hull, of Las Vegas, passed June 22, 2014. Frieda was born Oct. 4, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Thomas and Frieda (nee Hagen) Hull. She was one of the most interesting, wonderful and kind-hearted people the world has ever known. She worked for the illustrious Pan Am Airlines for more than a quarter century. She was a huge sports fan watching boxing and baseball religiously. She would frequent baseball card shows to buy baseball cards for herself to then give them to a child standing nearby wishing he or she could have one. She was a devout catholic, crossing herself anytime she passed by a church. She loved root beer and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, both of which she kept in her fridge. She was a good friend to Marilyn Monroe and loved sharing stories and private photos of the icon. Although she was never married and had no children of her own, she "adopted" many of the neighborhood children. She would always pick up her phone when you called, would not hesitate to help anyone in need and never had a driver's license. She never met a stranger and loved animals more than herself. She would often take her "adopted" children and grandchildren to dinner and only eat half so she could give the other half to her dog. She lived a long and beautiful life, dying at 83 years old. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Hull; and her aunt, Elizabeth Hagen. No services are scheduled. She was an amazing woman and I could only hope to be half the person she was. "We love you and you will be greatly missed. "
