ANDREW P. FAHEY Andrew P. Fahey, age 82, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on December 26, 2020. He was born on November 19, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Andrew and Catherine Fahey. He attended St. Mel High School in Chicago and graduated from Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN. While at Christian Brothers he married Wilma Myers, with whom had six children. After marrying, they relocated to the Chicago area. He worked at Cook Electric in Niles, Il, and Chicago Aerial Industries in Barrington, IL. Later he worked for the Federal government in the Defense Nuclear Agency in Washington, DC. While in Washington he married Darlene (Dondi) Krueger. He later retired and he and Dondi moved to Las Vegas. Andy is survived by his wife Dondi Fahey; his three daughters Kathy Barbour, Julie Wilke, and Kelly Fahey; his three sons, Andy Fahey Jr., Tim Fahey, and Bill Fahey; his eleven grandchildren; his six great grandchildren; and his two sisters, Eileen Swalla, and Gina Clark. A remembrance Mass will be said at a future date at St. John Brebeuf Catholic Church in Niles, Il. The family profoundly thanks his care team at Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas for their selfless and compassionate care of Andy and their support of his family.
