Christopher Lance Phelon, 32, tragically passed away at his home on July 5, 2021 in Algona, Iowa. He was born September 10, 1988 in Murray, Utah. His family moved to Las Vegas, NV when he was 4 years old. Christopher graduated from Advanced Technologies Academy in Las Vegas in 2006. He attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology in December 2014. Christopher served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lima, Peru from 2006-2008 where he learned to speak Spanish fluently and taught many people about Jesus Christ. He got married while he was a student at BYU. He and his spouse moved to Spirit Lake, IA in 2015 where he took a job with Polaris as a manufacturing engineer. I worked with Chris at snap-on in Algona, IA. He could light up any room he walked into with his smile. He is greatly missed. I'm sorry for your loss.
