ERNESTO GASCO
ERNESTO GASCO Ernesto Gasco passed away on December 18, 2020. He was born in Bagnasco, Piedmont, Italy on October 7, 1927. Never afraid of hard work, he survived WWII working in the coal mines and later took up the family trade as a shoemaker. In 1950, he immigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina where he studied Opera at the Teatro Colon and became a tenor. It was there that he met and fell in love with his wife of almost 60 years. In 1966, they decided to immigrate to the United States where they raised their two children. In 1980, he began his acting career appearing in "Betrayal" on Broadway with Roy Scheider, Raul Julia and Blythe Danner. He and his wife retired to Las Vegas in 2001. He was predeceased by his loving wife Maria Elda and sisters Gemma and Felicina. He is survived by his son Luis, daughter-in-law Elaine, daughter Marisa, son-in-law Justin, and grandchildren: Andrew, Maxwell, Dante and Olivia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
