DR. JALAL ABTAHI Dr. Jalal Abtahi, son of the late Asadollah Abtahi and Khadijeh Abtahi, was born April 17, 1937 in Arak, Iran. He departed this life January 5, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 83 years. Jalal spent this life as a loving, honorable, and generous husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. All forty-seven of his working years were spent as a respected and beloved physician in Chicago, Illinois. Jalal and his wife retired to Las Vegas in 2004 where he continued to enjoy his passion for trap shooting, watching sports, and hosting a great time for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Abtahi of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter and son-in-law: Sara and Steve Van Hoose of Henderson, Nevada; one sister: Nahid Abtahi of Iran; one brother: Najmeddin Abtahi of London, England; two grandchildren: Sophie and Jackson Van Hoose; many relatives and countless friends.
