JAMES RONALD KENT
JAMES RONALD KENT 2/7/1948-3/28/2021 Ron was proud to be a native, life-long Nevadan and attorney and counselor at law. His long career included private practice, serving as Chief Deputy District Attorney in Nye County, and Justice of the Peace in Nye County. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Marzelle E. and James C. Kent. Ron leaves behind his love, best friend, and colleague of 30 years, Lisa M. Brown; and the children they love, Zachary and David. Ron is also survived by his sister, Marsha Guzman(Fernando); and her children, Isabella (Baby Hunter) and Alexander. I'm so sorry we lost contact over the years. Ron was a valued colleague when I was on the Nye County Board of Commissioners. My sincere condolences to those he loved. There was no one like him.

I knew Ron from the 8th grade on. We explored the 60's and 70's, and more, together. He was an accomplished, smart, loyal, compassionate man with a true sense of irony and humor. Travel on Ron!
