JEAN KING On Friday, December 18, 2020, Jean King, loving mother and grandmother, passed away surrounded by family and friends at the age of 54. Jean was born on August 2, 1966 in Las Vegas, NV to Dorothy (Janet) Morris and Gene King. She graduated from Southern Nevada Vocational-Technical Center and worked hard to become a valued administrator for the Clark County School District. Jean raised one beloved daughter, Megan. Jean had a passion for spending time with her grandsons, Nash and Nixon. She also loved hiking, traveling and shopping. She will be remembered best for her witty sense of humor and her generosity, as well as her kind and compassionate heart. Jean was preceded in death by her father Gene; her mother Janet; and her sister Valerie Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Megan Smerber; her two grandsons Nash and Nixon; and her sister Sandra Huggard. A private funeral service will be held Sunday, January 10th, 2021 at Palm Mortuary.
