JEFFREY DAVID MORRIS Jeffrey David Morris passed away April 23, 2021, after a stroke and battle with kidney dialysis treatments. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Jan. 22, 1962. He moved to Las Vegas in 1963 at the ripe old age of one year. Jeff was beloved by his family and raised in a loving household. Jeff attended Chaparral High School in Las Vegas. Jeffrey had many jobs in his lifetime; probably the job he enjoyed most was umpiring in baseball. This became his lifetime where he gained many loyal friends as the umpiring was not only local, but his career carried him all over this country. Survived by his father, Will; daughter, Danielle; sons, Will and Wes; sisters and brothers, Wendy, Pat, Jerry, Jill, Adrienne, Greg, and Jennifer; and four grandkids. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 3 at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary for family only.

Although we didn't talk or hangout as much as when we were both Umpiring full time, we always were happy to see each other and always picked up right where we left off! Some of my fondest Umpire memories are of all of us laughing and cutting up with each other before the start of a very long tournament day. I'll miss doing some off track horse race betting with you and just being your friend. See you later Jeff, you'll always have a place in my heart. Your Friend, Johnny Morales

My deepest condolences to your family, I've known Jeff for many years, he was a great umpire partner and a better friend. My heart aches hearing of this news. May your mourning and sadness be short and remember all the smiles Jeff put on everyones faces. God bless you and my friend Jeff.
