I just learned of John's passing. We spent a considerable amount of time together while John was with the Las Vegas USA Office and I was in the Tax Divison. We actually tried the Olk case together and I know we would both like to forget that. John was a sincere and wonderful person and I hope he is resting peacefully.

John and I worked at the Tax Div. of the DOJ from 1969-1973. We shared many laughs together. We still saw each other whenever I visited Las Vegas. He was not only a wonderful attorney, but more importantly a wonderful and kind human being. He will be missed. R.I.P. Friend.

Because our offices were on the same floor, John and I would often find ourselves working on weekends. I could always count on John to help me with whatever legal issues I was facing. Thanks for your help and RIP John.

I grew up with John as a little guy on 9th Street in Port Arthur, and continued at UT in the '60's. He was always a lot of fun to be around. He will be greatly missed.

John was my friend and lawyer. He had a great and wry sense of humor. Underneath his "gruff" exterior, he was a kind-hearted soul. RIP John.
