LOUIS STEWART PARDY Louis Stewart Pardy, age 88, of North Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. Louis was born May 2, 1932. He was born 02 May 1932 in Bombay N.Y., to Louis and Christine Cook Pardy. He is a member of the Mohawk Tribe, Hoganburg, N.Y. Louis served in the U.S. Army in the 73rd Heavy Tank Battalion in the Korean War. He married Doris Dion and had three children; Christine Cook Doherty, Richard, and David Pardy while working at Crown Zellebach Papermill in Carthage, NY. In 1969, he married Margaret Harris, his loving wife of 47 years. Together, they raised her four children, Allan, Mark, Steven, and Scot Harris, along with Christine and Richard. The family moved to North Las Vegas in 1974, where Lou lived in the same home until his passing. He spent over 60 years devoted to helping veteran families and providing assistance to poor communities, funded, and managed by BPOE, American Legion, VFW, and Knights of Columbus. He held top leadership roles in each organization. He will be greatly missed! His viewing will be Wednesday 13 January in the Main chapel at Palm Mortuary Downtown located at 1325 N. Main St. A memorial service for him will be at 10 a.m. 14 January at St. Christopher's Church, 1840 N. Bruce St., North Las Vegas, NV 89030. Burial ceremony will be at 12 noon 14 January at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
