PATRICIA ROYCE-JACKSON (MCHUGH) 27 July 1939 - 16 January 2021 Pat was born and raised in Los Angeles. She married and had two children, Michael (now deceased) and Marianne. Pat became a bilingual teacher for LAUSD after receiving her BA from Loyola Marymount. She obtained her Master's Degree from CSDH and continued teaching in the inner city until retirement then moved to Las Vegas with her husband Greg. Greg had a heart attack and died soon after the move while Pat was left widowed and alone in a new place. She decided to return to teaching for the Clark County School District and had a successful second career. Pat was a wonderful teacher and was loved by her students and fellow teachers. She enjoyed traveling and visited all of the inhabited continents. She was a member of the Red Hats and several sewing groups. She was an active member of Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church and supported an Indian school among many other charities. She loved to read and more importantly loved to laugh! She is survived by her daughter, Marianne Viviano, her brother Michael McHugh (Holly), 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mass will be held 10:30 am on 2/20/2021 at Our Lady of Las Vegas Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to the charity of your choice.

I met Pat volunteering at OLLV, we spent Tuesday mornings together, counting money! I remember her sense of humor, her kindness, generosity, and most of all her gift of friendship. My very deepest sympathy to your family.
