Thomas Edmund Crowe, Esq., of Las Vegas, passed away on Monday, March 22, after a cardiac arrest suffered on Thursday, March 18. He was 68 years old. Born on New Year's Day, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA, to mother Mary C. Crowe (nee Ward) and father Joseph Crowe, Tom attended LaSalle College High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University before attaining his J.D. from Cornell Law in 1979. He leaves behind three Crowe children (Brian, Julianne, and Thomas James), daughter-in-law Mary Ellen, and two grandchildren, Leo and Nora, with whom he deserved more time. Tom was married thrice, once to native Philadelphian Margaret Breen Micaletti and twice to Jane Clark. His girlfriend, Jane Noble, has lived and worked with Tom for several years. Tom also took great care of two long-time pet cats, Rocky and Fang, and loved soaking in the sun of the desert southwest.
Over three decades in Las Vegas, Tom built a prominent practice, The Thomas E. Crowe Professional Law Corporation, focusing on tax/bankruptcy dispute resolution and litigation. His colleagues talk admiringly of Tom's wit and willingness to take on more challenging cases. According to another prominent attorney, "Tom wasn't afraid of doing anything."
