William Gilbert Farran Jr. was born on Sept. 6th, 1943 in Washington DC
to William and Edith Farran. William (Bill) grew up in Langley Park, MD. Upon graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his enlistment, he moved to CA where he worked as a mechanic and eventually opened his own shop. Bill later moved to Las Vegas, NV. He married his third wife Barbara Behrens on March 13, 2008. In later years, he worked as a master mechanic for First Transit and became union president. Hobbies include stock car racing, riding his Harley and a love for his corvette. He has five children: William Farran III, Thomas Farran from his first marriage and Chris Farran, Frank Farran and James Farran from his second marriage. Bill is preceded in death by his father William Farran Sr. He is survived by his mother Edith, wife Barbara, sister Edith Evangeline (Vangie), five sons, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
